About Us

In 1989 Mark and Jennifer Smith established Great Lakes Forest Products, Inc., in Granger, Indiana as an office wholesale lumber company that sold to the manufactured housing and industrial lumber markets.

Throughout the 90’s, Great Lakes Forest Products, Inc. grew in sales and customers. As the year 2000 approached, we saw the opportunity to start a lumber remanufacturing plant in Elkhart, Indiana.

From that point forward, we have added both team members and equipment at our Elkhart facility to accommodate our growth. Today, Great Lakes Forest Products, Inc. is driven by a long list of satisfied customers who have come to appreciate good service and quality products, as well as, persistence, hard work, and the desire to be perfect every day.
